What is Personal Information and why do we collect it?
Personal Information is information or an opinion that identifies an individual. Examples of Personal Information we collect includes names, addresses, email addresses, phone and facsimile numbers.
This Personal Information is obtained in many ways including correspondence, by telephone and facsimile, by email, via our website www.tooeasytech.com.au, from your website, from media and publications, from other publicly available sources, and from third parties. We don’t guarantee website links or policy of authorised third parties.
We collect your Personal Information for the primary purpose of providing our services to you, providing information to our clients and marketing. We may also use your Personal Information for secondary purposes closely related to the primary purpose, in circumstances where you would reasonably expect such use or disclosure. You may unsubscribe from our mailing/marketing lists at any time by contacting us in writing.

Too Easy Tech will not charge any fee for your access request but may charge an administrative fee for providing a copy of your Personal Information.
In order to protect your Personal Information, we may require identification from you before releasing the requested information.

It is an important to us that your Personal Information is up to date. We will take reasonable steps to make sure that your Personal Information is accurate, complete and up-to-date. This Privacy Policy applies to all personal information collected by Too Easy Tech (we, us or our) via the website located at www.tooeasytech.com.au (Website).
By booking a course through our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Our courses
We provide face-to-face courses and classes designed to help participants develop practical skills and confidence in using technology.
Course descriptions, dates, times, locations, prices and other information are provided on our website at the time of booking.
While we make every effort to ensure that course information is accurate and up to date, we may occasionally need to make reasonable changes to course content, instructors, locations or schedules.
2. Bookings
A booking is confirmed once payment has been successfully received and you have received a booking confirmation from us.
Places in our courses may be limited. Bookings are accepted subject to availability.
You are responsible for providing accurate information when making a booking, including your name and contact details.
If you are booking on behalf of another person, you confirm that you have their permission to provide their information and make the booking on their behalf.
3. Course fees and payment
All course prices are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
Payment must be made within 24 hours of booking unless we have agreed to alternative payment arrangements with you.
We reserve the right to change our prices for future courses. Any price change will not affect a booking that has already been confirmed.
4. Cancellation and refunds
Our Refund & Cancellation Policy forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
If you need to cancel or change your booking, please contact us as soon as possible.
Nothing in our cancellation or refund policy limits or excludes any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
5. Course changes and cancellations by us
We may need to reschedule, relocate or cancel a course due to circumstances including insufficient enrolments, instructor availability, venue issues, illness, extreme weather or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where we cancel or significantly change a course, we will contact affected participants and, where appropriate, offer an alternative course date or refund.
If we cancel a course and you are entitled to a refund, the refund will be handled in accordance with our Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable Australian law.
6. Attendance
Please arrive at the course location at the time specified in your booking confirmation.
If you arrive late, we may not be able to repeat material already covered or extend the course to compensate for your late arrival.
If you are unable to attend, please contact us as soon as possible. Our cancellation and refund rules will apply.
7. Course participation
Our courses are designed for people with a range of technology skills and experience.
Participants are encouraged to ask questions and work at their own pace. However, we cannot guarantee that every participant will achieve a particular level of knowledge or skill as a result of attending a course.
Where a course has specific prerequisites, equipment requirements or recommended experience, these will be communicated before or during the booking process.
8. Your equipment and personal belongings
If you bring your own laptop, tablet, smartphone or other equipment to a course, you are responsible for the care and security of that equipment.
We recommend that you back up important files before attending a course.
We are not responsible for loss of data, damage to personal equipment or loss of personal belongings except to the extent required by law.
9. Software, accounts and passwords
Some courses may involve using third-party software, websites, applications or online accounts.
You are responsible for having any necessary accounts, licences or subscriptions required to use third-party services.
We will not ask you to provide us with your passwords. You should never disclose your passwords or other confidential security information to another participant or instructor.
Where a course involves creating or changing accounts, participants are responsible for following the relevant provider’s terms and conditions.
10. Course materials and intellectual property
Course materials, presentations, worksheets, guides, demonstrations, graphics, videos and other resources supplied by us remain our intellectual property unless otherwise stated.
You may use course materials for your own personal, non-commercial learning and reference.
You must not reproduce, sell, distribute, publish, modify or commercially exploit our course materials without our prior written permission.
You must not record an entire course, including audio or video of the instructor or other participants, without our prior permission.
11. Participant conduct
We want our courses to be welcoming, inclusive and comfortable for everyone.
Participants are expected to:
treat instructors, staff and other participants respectfully;
follow reasonable instructions from instructors and venue staff;
use equipment and facilities appropriately;
avoid behaviour that is disruptive, threatening, abusive or discriminatory; and
respect the privacy and personal information of other participants.
We reserve the right to ask a participant to leave a course where their behaviour presents a safety risk, significantly disrupts the course or adversely affects other participants.
Where a participant is asked to leave because of inappropriate behaviour, they may not be entitled to a refund, subject to applicable law.
12. Accessibility and individual requirements
We want our courses to be accessible and welcoming.
If you have accessibility requirements or other needs that may affect your participation, please contact us before booking or as early as possible after booking so that we can discuss reasonable arrangements.
While we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate individual requirements, some requests may depend on the facilities, equipment or limitations of the course venue.
13. Health and safety
Participants must follow reasonable health and safety instructions provided by us or the course venue.
You should not attend a course if you are experiencing an illness or condition that means you should reasonably avoid attending an in-person class.
If you have concerns about whether a course environment or activity is suitable for you, please contact us before attending.
14. Photography, video and recording
We may occasionally take photographs or recordings during courses or events for legitimate business or promotional purposes.
Where we intend to use identifiable images or recordings of participants for promotional purposes, we will obtain appropriate permission or consent.
Participants must not photograph, record or publish images, video or audio of other participants without their permission.
15. Privacy
We collect and use personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Information provided when making a booking may be used to process your booking, communicate with you about your course and provide related services.
We will handle personal information in accordance with applicable Australian privacy laws.
16. Third-party services and websites

We are not responsible for the content, availability, security or privacy practices of third-party services.
Your use of third-party services is subject to the terms and policies of the relevant third party.
17. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss or damage arising from your participation in a course where that loss or damage results from circumstances outside our reasonable control or from your misuse of equipment, software or information provided during the course.
However, nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under Australian law.
In particular, nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where we provide services to a consumer, Australian Consumer Law guarantees may apply, including guarantees relating to due care and skill and fitness for a particular purpose. (ACCC)
18. Australian Consumer Law
Our courses and services are provided subject to the Australian Consumer Law, including applicable consumer guarantees.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify those rights.
Where we fail to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy depending on the circumstances, which may include having the service provided again, compensation or a refund.
19. Changes to these Terms & Conditions
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The version that applies to your booking will generally be the version in effect when you make your booking, unless a change is required by law or otherwise applies to your booking.
The current version will be published on our website.
20. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in Victoria, Australia.
Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms & Conditions will be subject to the applicable courts and tribunals of that jurisdiction, subject to any rights you may have under Australian law.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want you to feel confident when booking a course with us. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains what happens if you need to cancel or change your booking.
1. Cancelling your booking
If you can no longer attend a course, please contact us as soon as possible.
More than 7 days before the course
If you cancel more than 7 days before the scheduled course start date, you may choose either:
a full refund of the course fee; or
a transfer to another available course date.
Within 7 days or less before the course date
If you cancel within 7 days or less before the scheduled course start date, refunds may be subject to our ability to fill your place.
Where possible, we may offer:
a transfer to another available course date; or
a partial refund at our discretion.
If we are able to fill your place with another participant, we will provide a refund of the course fee, less any reasonable administration costs.
2. Non-attendance
If you do not attend your scheduled course without contacting us beforehand, your booking will be considered forfeited and no refund will be provided.
If circumstances outside your control prevent you from attending, please contact us as soon as possible. We will consider requests on a case-by-case basis.
3. If we cancel or reschedule a course
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a course where circumstances require us to do so, including where minimum enrolment numbers are not reached or circumstances outside our reasonable control affect our ability to run the course.
If we cancel a course, you will be offered:
a transfer to another available course date; or
a full refund of the course fee if you cannot attend the alternative date.
If we reschedule a course, you may choose to transfer your booking to the new date or request a full refund.
4. Transfers
Subject to availability, you may request to transfer your booking to another course date.
Transfer requests should be made as early as possible. We cannot guarantee that a place will be available on your preferred alternative date.
5. Refund processing
Approved refunds will be made via the original payment method. Please allow reasonable processing time for the refund to appear in your account.
6. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or other applicable Australian legislation.
If a course does not meet a consumer guarantee that applies under the ACL, you may have rights to a remedy, which can include a refund, replacement or other remedy depending on the circumstances.
Our cancellation policy does not affect these rights.
